in our news.
No more reports
of rebels or thefts or courts
only a slow-ticking clock
counting deaths
as the whole world holds
its breath.

    I think that too. Here in NZ people are managing to die less often of other things though, like car accidents. I see kids able to cycle safely even on main roads

      So true! Isn’t it strange how the number of car-related deaths are “normal” to society while other deaths aren’t? There are lots of kids on the roads here as well. Roads are so much better than sidewalk for biking and rollerblading. 😉 Hope you all stay well in NZ!
