A broken tulip

I can’t resist a beautiful, minimalist painting! The idea of this one is simple but the texture is everything: gold marks under the pale blue leave raised marks, and the canvas paper is visible on the left side. It’s inspired by Maggie Smith’s question, “What else is possible?” It’s up to you whether the dots are rising or falling.
